Oduch and M'dourrok

Two of the baddest kaleesh around…

Oduch Kq’qazir and Khan M’dourrok Zaseim are two kaleesh (invented by myself and y-eskii-lass, respectively) that inhabit the wartorn planet of Kalee during the huk wars.

Oduch is a visionary scholar whose complete albinism requires that he remain hidden beneath voluminous robes, lest he bake under the hot sun of his home planet. He is a nontraditional thinker and an outspoken orator who proves a burdensome critic to the traditional kaleesh way of life. He is dramatic, intelligent, pompous, rational, judgmental, and intolerant of anything he views as stupidity. Despite his general unpopularity (which he chalks up to his tendency to point out truths nobody wants to hear), he is fiercely and indisputably loyal to Kalee’s interests and is equally comfortable using his formidable mind or his sturdy polearm to protect her.

M’dourrok is a wealthy khan, General Grievous’ second cousin and captain of the Izvoshra (that is, Grievous’ elite. Notice the magnaguard-esque clothing). A peerless warrior and model kaleesh in every way, M’dourrok is nonetheless uncomfortable with himself, having been born a bastard child and accepted into the Shakar clan. He is extremely loyal to his cousin and is piously true to the romantic traditions of his people. Unlike many kaleesh royals, however, he is inwardly compassionate towards the plight of Kalee’s commoners and genuinely troubled by the cruelty of the planet’s caste system.

Anyway, had a lot of fun doing this one. I’m sick and tired of drawing threads and scales, but I think it turned out really well so I suppose it was worth it.
